Deep purple almost black flowers with a rich velvety sheen, Flowering time is May/ June, with a height of 80cm, Plant it at soil level with a distance of 30cm apart, they are to be planeted from March onwards. Iris Germanica prefer rich, well-drained soil and to be in full sun. Good for borders. A long-lived plant. Plant in an area that receives as much sunshine as possible.
